Viatec, Inc. ("Viatec," "we," "us") builds electric power take-off systems and mobile power products for work truck fleets. This policy explains what information we collect through our websites, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers viatec.us, service.viatec.us, telematics.viatec.us, and any Viatec page that links to it.

We sell to businesses, utilities, and government fleets. The personal information we handle is almost entirely professional contact information belonging to people acting in their business capacity. We do not sell personal information, and our websites are not directed at children.

Information you give us

When you request a quote, download a resource, use the idling calculator, register for an event, contact support, or subscribe to updates, we collect what you provide: typically your name, work email, phone number, company, job title, and fleet details relevant to your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site. This includes IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages, and interactions with our emails (opens and clicks). We use HubSpot for this tracking and for managing our customer relationships. You can control cookies through the banner on this site and through your browser settings.

Customer product data

If your organization uses Viatec equipment, telematics data from that equipment (asset performance, usage, diagnostics) is governed by your organization's agreement with Viatec, not by this policy. Login credentials for the telematics portal are handled as account data under that agreement.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to quote requests, support inquiries, and reseller questions
• Provide resources you request, such as calculators, specification sheets, and documentation
• Send marketing communications about Viatec products, case studies, and industry topics like idle reduction and fleet electrification, where permitted by law or with your consent
• Operate, secure, and improve our websites
• Meet legal and contractual obligations

We keep personal information only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law, and we review our contact database periodically to remove records we no longer need.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run our operations, such as our CRM and marketing platform (HubSpot), email and productivity tools, website hosting, and security services. These providers process data on our instructions.
• Authorized partners, such as OEM partners or resellers, when you ask us to connect you with one or when fulfilling your request requires it. We will make that clear at the point of collection.
• Legal and safety recipients, if required by law, legal process, or to protect Viatec, our customers, or others.
• A successor organization, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, under confidentiality consistent with this policy.

Your Choices and Rights

Marketing emails

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing does not affect service or support communications your organization needs as a customer.

Cookies

You can decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or your browser. The site works without them.

Access, correction, and deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to certain uses. We honor these requests regardless of location where we reasonably can. To make a request, email privacy@viatec.us or write to the address below. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe your local law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transmission, and a web application firewall. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our websites and products are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
